NTech go 1000 Miles with Grinspoon!

NTech recently produced Grinspoon's 1000 Miles film clip for Universal Music. The clip, which features many celebrity cameo appearances throughout, was entirely animated, South Park style, by the talented Sandy Debreuil, under the creative direction of Carmel Debreuil. Web delivery of No Reason film clip

Grinspoon produced three different versions of their film clip No Reason and wanted to do something special for their fans. NTech media took all three clips and created a DVD-style Flash movie where fans could toggle between any or all three of the clips at once in real time. We worked with Channel [V] to coordinate a special promotional competition where fans could vote for their favourite version of the clip and win great Grinspoon prizes. There was tremendous interest in the clip and competition.

Hottest 100 promotional campaign

Grinspoon have consistently placed in the Triple J Hottest 100 series since their first single was released in 1996. However we wanted to move their placing up from the previous high in the 40s. To encourage fans to vote for the song Chemical Heart NTech ran a Hottest 100 competition through the official Grinspoon Web site. Grinspoon placed their highest positions yet on the Hottest 100 with 4 songs making the list and Chemical Heart making it to number 2!!! Over 83% of all votes received for Chemical Heart came from the promotional campaign run by NTech Media. Congratulations Grinspoon.

Conference proceedings presented on CD-ROM and hard copy

Producing the Web and hard-copy proceedings for a large conference can be time consuming and problematic. NTech have devised a one-document, several delivery option format for the purpose of streamlining this type of conference publication. The NTech system is fully managed via an online interface and has features for double blind reviews of submitted conference papers, automatic notification, upload, modification and management as well as easy hard copy production. Flash games

Flash media games are a great way to keep people coming back to your Web site. They are often very fast to download and can provide a foundation for promotional opportunities such as competitions and other means of client interaction.

To celebrate the release of Grinspoon's New Detention album NTech Media developed a secret area on the Grinspoon Web site that was initially only accessible by users who had bought the album CD and ran the Flash program on there. Once users had signed up to the secret area they could read about the making of the album and play four separate Flash games based around the members of the band, Each of the highest scorers on the games for the first six weeks received excellent prizes and their scores kept in the Grinspoon gamers hall of fame.
