Karey Patterson - Principal Director
Karey loves being busy, working with the NTech crew and our clients. His primary responsibility at NTech is to ensure high quality output, on-time and within budget while ensuring we enjoy what we do. Karey holds B. Bus (Hons) and MEd (T&D) degrees with majors in computing, business management and marketing. He has a wide range of industry experience and has recently completed post-graduate (Masters) research into usability, interface design and navigational systems with particular reference to large-scale Web sites.

Michael Harrison - Project Manager/Senior Analyst
Michael completed his Bachelor of Informatics - now known as a Bachelor of Information Technology - in 1991 at Griffith University Queensland (Nathan Campus). He majored in Software Engineering and Micro Electronics. After graduation Michael went on to work in industrial automation as a C++/SCADA analyst/programmer. He worked in this field for six years creating automated systems for shipping lochs to wood drying kilns to animal feed production.

Rod Byrnes - Online solutions
Rod 'Pat' Byrnes has been working with NTech Media since its inception. He has many years of experience with the Internet since 1990 and the Web since 1993. During that time Rod has proven himself to be a valuable team member in a variety of responsible positions. Rod has also been involved in academic pursuits since the early 1990s. He has lectured in several different fields, produced a number of academic publications and presented papers and workshops at various conferences. Rod is currently studying for a Masters degree in Education, in which he is researching the use of assessment via the Web.

Karen Hanna - Administration
A passionate "people person" and performer who likes alliteration, Karen completed her Bachelor of Business in 1999 and has spent the past 10 years in Event Management, primarily in the higher education sector. This high pressure and people filled industry have resulted in her highly developed organisational, project management and administration skills.
In her spare time, between work and three teenage children, Karen loves to sing jazz, play her piano and work on her own musical compositions.

Jared Baxter - Team Leader
Jared graduated from Southern Cross University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Information Technology, majoring in Software Engineering. A penchant for programming coupled with a background in client & technical support provides Jared with the skills and drive to provide the quality of service that NTech is renowned for.

Dom O'Brien - Team Leader
Dom has been developing and maintaining websites since 2001, supporting organisations in the organic and sustainability industries, and more mainstream industries. With experience ranging across the fields of project management and website development, he is integral to the process of systems based website project development.

Scott Connolly - Team Leader
Scott completed a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Computing in 1997 at Southern Cross University, Lismore. Since then he has worked with a diverse range of projects and industries in Australia, and abroad, specifically Canada and the UK. Scott specialises in web based applications, and brings a broad background of knowledge and skills to the NTech team.

Lenny Stewart - Programmer
Lenny Stewart recently began work with NTech Media to gain workplace experience and help pay the cost of university. Lenny has loved working with computers ever since he discovered Mac Classics at school and has been hooked ever since. He is currently learning new programming languages and is helping to develop an intranet for NTech Media. In his spare time Lenny enjoys playing RPGs and computer games.

Sefton Hellawell - Programmer
Since first programming in BASIC on the c64 I have wanted to be a professional programmer. At NTech I get to work on cutting edge projects with great support from highly skilled and experienced senior software developers. I am very excited about Linux and emerging web technologies that bring rich applications to the internet.

Peter Jeffrey - Creative
Peter's background in design spans fifteen years, bringing with it a deep perspective of the built environment - invaluable in the translation of graphic design concepts to reality. He has also worked as an interior designer, having worked with many of Sydney's leading architecture and interior design firms.

Carmel Debreuil - Creative
Born in the ice cold prairies of Canada with a fierce desire to be warm, I ended up in Australia after several years of world travelling and a menagerie of basic job skills. At the moment I'm a budding screenwriter, an animatrix (well the artist for animators, but I think animatrix sounds heaps more sexy), rock star ornament and social butterfly extrordinaire... and I am very creative.

Joanna Pitt - Clerical
Jo has been part of the NTech team since 2003 and most often found in the office, perfoming various clerical tasks. During this millenium Jo completed a BA degree in Media Communications, majoring in Multimedia and Information Technology, at Southern Cross University, Lismore campus. Originally from Canberra, having travelled and lived in New Zealand and Argentina, this Canberran now calls the NSW North Coast her home, loving working with the NTech team and living in the rainforest with her partner and beautiful child Ruby.

Robert Sampson - Trainee
Robert began his traineeship working for NTech Media early 2007, he is looking forward to a prosperous career in the field of Information Technology with the help of Karey and all of the staff here at NTech Media. In his spare time Robert likes to play video games, swim (if its hot and there’s water nearby), play bass guitar (at home).

Damien Roy
has been doing support work for the past 10 years, his experience ranges from technical PC hardware work, to help-desk phone and in-person support for a range of company from an ISP (internet service provider) support section, to normal small office environment. He also has a lot experience in configuration and setup of network environments.
